HI and SOME THOUGHTS:  

If you live in the United States, I hope your Thanksgiving was all that you had hoped and wanted it to be – and wherever you may be living in our beautiful world, that your December days include laughter, love and joy. Remember that what really matters during the holidays is unconditionally loving yourself first, and, then, experiencing the give and take of loving relationships with your family and friends.

Gifts of Love include the expressions of your love for your loved ones, spending precious time with those you love and giving your time, energy, resources and heart to those in need. For example, Oprah just ran a powerful show dealing with the horrific treatment, mutilation and killing of young girls and women throughout the world. If you wish to help and support the survival of one or more of these girls or women, you can go to her website, www.oprah.com, (click on For All Women Registry), and find a way to make a difference that feels right for you. You can also serve by providing hens, goats, sheep and chicks to families and communities in need by checking out www.heifer.org, as mentioned in my November Newsletter.
 

WHERE WILL I BE SPEAKING THIS WEEK  

First, Thursday evening, December 3rd, I will have the pleasure of visiting with and speaking to the Bucks County Breast Friends Cancer Support Group, located in the medical office building at 3300 Tillman Drive, Bensalem, PA. We will be discussing the exquisite relationship of harnessing our intuitive wisdom and our ability to heal emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. Second, Saturday, December 5th, from 2:00 to 4:00, at the CHA CHA GIFTS and Wellness Center, Quakerbridge Mall (second level, across from Lord & Taylor’s) in Lawrenceville, NJ, 08648 (609-275-5008). I will be discussing the book (and CD) and signing our Intuition Is Easy and Fun: The Art and Practice of Developing Your Natural Born Gift of Intuition with my friend, co-author and meditation teacher, Yanni Maniates. We will also have available and will be signing our other books and CDs. If you have the time, energy and interest during this busy holiday season, we would love to see you there.

As I have mentioned before, I live my life by the sentiments expressed on a plaque hanging in my kitchen: I have learned to cherish those I love as though I would not have Tomorrow…

I know how crazy the days of December can be…but, honestly, have you thought about what your legacy would be if you did not have tomorrow? Would you rather it be the dinner party or gifts on which you are spending your energy and making your priority – or the gift of your loving presence in the lives of those you hold dear?

Choose to make each moment a time of unconditional loving connection – either in person or by phone. Love is who you are; Love is why you are here.

Don’t be afraid to reclaim and own this very real lovable aspect of you. It does not matter what kind of childhood you had, how much you suffered, how terrible – or not- your folks were to you. You are here to take responsibility for choosing to love You; that is, you are here to be, receive and give Love unconditionally – You, first, and then others! Every time you take a breath, you breathe in your connection to your Source and that is an extremely empowering thought!! You are Divine and you are a part of All That Is Divine.

My hope is that during these December days (and those to come ) you reclaim, remember and recover your awareness of how extraordinary you are. And this is so because you were born a loving, lovable being – independent of the family into which you were born and whatever has taken place on your life’s journey. When you know and feel the Truth of you being Love, and then choose to focus on the high vibrational experiences of Love, Joy and your Blessings, miracles of mind, body and spirit occur, and you may even find the holidays will be all that you desire.

You were meant to live a life of peace and joy. What are you waiting for?
